Mike is a seasoned Senior Project Manager with over two decades of experience working on a variety of campuses, from medical, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing, to commercial, retail, and academic. Mike began his construction career with a site/earthwork subcontractor, became a field engineer for a civil engineering firm, worked on building jobsites as a superintendent, and was later moved in to the office to manage construction projects. Mike joined Columbia in 2010 and is known as a highly communicative manager. Mike believes his most important job performance skill is finding common ground between team members to help resolve issues. For Mike, his project successes depend heavily on proper distribution of vital information to the team, the owner, and building occupants. From small fit-out jobs to million dollar renovation and new addition projects, Mike’s in-depth technical knowledge and attention to detail help provide successful project direction and guidance.
Mike is not one to shy away from challenges or heights. He enjoys flying planes, helicopters and sky diving. Mike enjoys traveling and hopes to one drive an RV across the United States and Canada.
