"Work is called work because it is work! We all need to work hard, do our job, and then some! Being at Columbia gives me a sense of comfort from ownership and management of a family/friendly atmosphere. The expectations are high which motivates all. The support from all is even higher!"

Paul Sullivan, LEED AP

Superintendent

Joined Columbia in 2012

Paul is an experienced Superintendent who is an asset to Columbia’s Interiors Division. In this role, he primarily oversees all on-site work necessary to complete a project in coordination with the client’s schedule. He also supports fellow superintendents on their projects when necessary, and assists the preconstruction and project management team with pricing and contract scopes. Paul enjoys constantly meeting new people; he always strives to develop a lasting relationship with building management, architects and subcontractors. Consistent hard work and reliability combined with his sense of humor definitely help to create these relationships! One of Paul’s accomplishments at Columbia that he is particularly proud of is helping to get the Columbia Run Team started. This team has completed races while raising money for deserving charitable organizations.

The values that Paul brings to work every day are consistent in his personal life as well. Living by the “the more you give the more you get” philosophy he learned from his father, he is passionate about helping people that are less fortunate and makes volunteering a priority. He also enjoys being with family and working on his vegetable garden. Paul stays active by running in road races, cycling and snowmobiling. Coffee also helps keep him going! One day, he would love to tour Ireland with his family. Fun fact about Paul: he officiates weddings, so if you need someone to manage your construction site or your marriage vows he is your man!
