Columbia has completed two comprehensive renovations, which were done in two phases. Phase I entailed complete renovations of 105 guest rooms as well as the lobby and common areas. Half of the hotel received upgrades while the other half remained in operation.

Phase II included the renovations of the remaining 140 guestrooms. This 35-year-old hotel received contemporary and sophisticated upgrades to all guestrooms and suites, as well as public spaces including the lobby, gift shop, and hotel corridors.

Electrical upgrades to all guestrooms will accommodate the increase in portable devices carried by today’s travelers. State-of-the-art climate controls were also installed throughout the property that sense when guests enter and exit their rooms to provide additional comfort year round, while also providing energy efficiency.
