Columbia constructed a new 45,000 sf residential complex at Milton Academy. The new facility includes two student residence halls as well as faculty accommodations. The two residence halls, one for girls and one for boys, are connected by common areas. There are 84 student beds, eight faculty apartments and dining, kitchen and lounge areas.
Construction also included the implementation of a landscaping program around the newly constructed building. New grass, trees and plantings, as well as walkways and fencing were installed.
Designed by CBT Architects and featuring brick facades, pitched roofs and dormers, the new buildings were designed to complement the existing architecture of the historic campus.
