MIT’s Office of Corporate Relations (OCR) underwent an expansion to include new executive offices, as well as a main reception area. Located at One Main Street in Cambridge, this project consisted of selective demolition to accommodate MIT’s new vision and day-to-day requirements.

Focusing on an open floor plan, areas include custom glass partitions and doors. Various conference rooms were designed to provide maximum flexibility, and a kitchen area was also built-out. A key element to the space is a feature wall in the lobby area, comprised of LED lighting and customized Dibond LED panels with MIT-inscribed lettering.

A later phase included the complete build-out of the Industry Meeting Center, also located in the One Main Street facility. The space is highly functional and flexible allowing MIT to gather for a number of functions and collaboration sessions.

Since 1990 Columbia has been working on the MIT campus, completing over $30 million in a number of renovation and new construction projects to-date.
