Polsinelli, a law firm with headquarters in Kansas City, launched a Boston office to focus on client’s intellectual property matters. Columbia provided CM services to fit-out the upscale space at One International Place in Boston’s Financial District.

Designed to be modern and flexible, the space was configured to accommodate future growth of the firm. Perimeter offices surround open workstations, a large boardroom, a breakroom with coffee bar, and a large welcoming reception area. In addition to scenic views of the city, the space is enhanced with high-end materials such as marble flooring, a tile feature wall behind a reception desk, and back-painted glass in the elevator lobby. The restrooms and elevator lobby were also renovated.

The client, owner’s project manager, and design team were based out of state, so Columbia took the lead on all local aspects of the project. Our experience working with 50+ clients to fit-out more than 750,000 square feet in International Place combined with extensive knowledge of the city’s building codes and inspectional procedures enabled Columbia to meet the fast-paced schedule without setback. Additionally, a team of reliable and trusted subcontractors were instrumental to the project’s success.
