Columbia is a third generation, Boston-based Construction Management company. We have accomplished steady and thoughtful growth since Sam Lilly founded the company in 1925.

We believe our success over a 90+ year history can be attributed to our people, our chemistry, and the culture of Columbia. We listen. We learn about our clients and immerse ourselves in understanding the clients’ values, what’s important to them and also what’s expected of us. We roll up our sleeves and work side by-side with the client’s project team in a collaborative environment exposing and solving problems to create value. There is clearly a correlation between our people and the fact that the majority of our work is for repeat clients.
