With over 35 years in the industry, Dave has extensive experience overseeing construction projects of varying sizes and scope. Known for his strong communication skills and flexibility to embrace unforeseen challenges, Dave expertly works with subcontractors, vendors, and co-workers to develop accurate budgeting and pricing for projects. A motivated self-starter, Dave successfully managed his own construction company for three decades. At Columbia, he enjoys being a part of the big picture construction process. Following a project from inception to a positive completion is extremely rewarding for Dave.

A gifted woodworker, Dave enjoys completing his own “passion projects” outside of work. From building new kitchen cabinet, to renewing the wood finish of an older piece, he enjoys the creative freedom of crafting wooden products. A proud dad of two sons, and two dogs, Dave is also a talented cook. Grilling is one of his favorite pastimes – spending time outdoors creating a tasty and healthy meal is rewarding and fun for Dave, and a bonus that it saves him time from kitchen cleanup duty!
