As an Area Superintendent, Mike is responsible for monitoring daily activities on the jobsite, as well as compiling reports on progress, compliance, and obstacles. An established member of the Columbia team, Mike gained his hands on construction knowledge as a Columbia Co-op while completing his BS degree at Wentworth Institutive of Technology.  Driven and serious about his jobsite duties, Mike enjoys the variety of tasks and the different people that he interacts with every day. For Mike, carrying out construction responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner, while ensuring quality work within certain deadlines and time-constraints is a top priority. A strong advocate for Lean practices and continuous improvement, Mike works hard to bring his continuous improvement mindset to his projects and teams.

A passionate runner, Mike belonged to the cross country team in high school and in college. He aspires to someday qualify for the Boston Marathon and finish it with a strong and respectable time. A true Boston sports fan he catches as many Red Sox games as he can, preferably in the standing-room section. When the winter season arrives, he spends as much time as he can on the slopes skiing with friends.
