Columbia Construction Company is pleased to announce the promotion of five employees.
Ian Manferdini, LEED AP, Senior Project Manager
Ian is an experienced Senior Project Manager in Columbia’s Interiors Division. In his new role, he is responsible for planning, directing, and managing multiple renovation projects simultaneously while maintaining the highest level of client satisfaction. Ian has successfully managed multiple phases of Wayfair’s office relocation at Copley Place that spans multiple floors and towers.
Matt Arsenault, Preconstruction Manager
Matt joined Columbia in 2008 as an Estimator and has over 10 years of experience estimating and analyzing costs associated with new construction and renovation projects. As Preconstruction Manager, Matt collaborates with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to plan and budget their dream buildings. Matt is involved in projects early in the design phase, and serves as a consultant not only on cost, but constructability, scheduling, and logistics.
Neal Swain, EIT, Project Manager
As Project Manager, Neal works closely with superintendents, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure the successful execution and completion of projects. A graduate of Northeastern University with a BS in Civil Engineering, Neal recently completed New England BioLabs’ new Rowley Cleanroom Manufacturing Facility.
Bob Doyle, Area Superintendent
Bob has 10 years of experience in the construction industry working on many large-scale construction projects, as well as several fast-track fit-out projects in occupied facilities for Columbia Construction. In his new position, Bob is responsible for helping with the management of the construction site, including all subcontractors and field staff.
Alyssa Bernier, Project Accountant
Alyssa joined Columbia Construction in 2012, and has become an integral member of the accounting team. In her new role as a Project Accountant, Alyssa is responsible for processing job related requisitions associated with contracts and purchase orders and working with project managers to closely manage job cost needs.
