As part of fulfilling our Contractor’s Commitment to Sustainable Building Practices, Columbia is publicly supporting legislation for carbon reduction policies on local, state, and national levels. We enthusiastically supported the federal clean electricity standard that will transform the U.S. electric power grid to 100% clean energy by 2035 by recently signing a business letter of support to enact a standard. A federal clean electricity standard will power America’s businesses and homes with affordable, job-creating clean energy and drive energy efficiency improvements for a healthier and prosperous future.
