Wentworth Institute of Technology’s Alumni Association has honored Sharon Jozokos with its 2020 Phillip J. Brooks Alumni Leadership Award, presented to an individual who, “gives back to the university through extensive volunteerism, and exhibits leadership characteristics that strengthen the pride and spirit that others feel toward Wentworth.”
The award was established in honor of the late Philip J. Brooks, the past Wentworth Alumni Association president and university adviser who contributed ample time and abundant energy to the university, the Alumni Association, and community.
Jozokos received a Construction Management degree at Wentworth in 1993, an MBA with a minor in Leadership from Boston College, and has been working in the construction industry for almost 30 years.
“Throughout her career,” the Wentworth Alumni Association said, “she has worked hard to pave a path of success for herself, as well as for her colleagues and peers. Vice president of Healthcare at Columbia, she works to bring best practices, organization, innovation, and passion to all Healthcare projects. She serves as a mentor and advisor to colleagues, some of whom are also are Wentworth alumni.”
