For Hobbs Brook Management, their priority is to reduce their environmental impact and improve sustainability in their buildings. Columbia has worked with Hobbs Brook for several years, and recently completed energy efficiency upgrades to their 333 Wyman Street building in Waltham, MA.

Project upgrades included the demolition of existing outdated HVAC and Electrical lighting and distribution systems, and the replacement of two new custom rooftop units utilizing fan wall technology. Additional work included a new HVAC distribution system and controls to all floors, new gas service, new electrical service with associated transformer and switchgear, new hot water recirculation lines, and the removal and replacement of the existing exterior windows with a new energy efficient window system.

This project earned LEED Certification for energy efficiency upgrades.
