Hobbs Brook Real Estate hired Columbia to build another Parking Garage PV Solar Electrical System as part of their ongoing energy initiatives on their Massachusetts campuses.

Columbia’s Energy Division designed, constructed, and commissioned this 610 kW AC solar electrical system at the top level of this steel framed parking garage. A water and snow management system was incorporated into the design and construction of this new renewable energy system. 

The new canopy provides coverage for the entire top level of the garage, decreasing snow removal and salting operation costs.
