With the past successes of several completed parking garage PV solar electrical system projects in Waltham and Lexington, Hobbs Brook Real Estate identified an existing parking structure located at 701 Edgewater Drive as a logical location to continue to implement their sustainability and renewable energy program.

Columbia’s Energy Division designed, constructed and commissioned a new 570 KW AC solar electrical system at the top level of this steel framed parking garage. A water and snow management system was incorporated into the design and construction of this new renewable energy system.

The new canopy provides coverage for the entire top level of the garage, providing four season covered parking for the tenants and visitors at 701 Edgewater Drive.
