The Gerrish Family Surgical Suite expansion project completed at the Anna Jaques Hospital campus provides a state-of-the-art facility to the local Newburyport community. The project entailed a two-story addition to accommodate two new operating rooms and the expansion of the existing Central Sterile Department. 

Additionally, the main entranceway to the hospital was expanded and the main lobby modernized to improve pedestrian flow. The modernized entryway provides welcoming landscaping and improved outdoor seating options for patients, visitors, and staff. The helipad was also relocated on the hospital campus. 

All work was completed on a fast-track schedule due to the potential impact to the campus. The efficiency of efforts allowed critical areas to become operational as soon as possible.
