Cell Signaling Technology relocated its corporate headquarters to Danvers, converting the former King’s Grant Inn to a state-of-the-art R&D facility. The 100,000+sf building was repositioned to house new laboratory and office space utilized by Cell’s cancer research team. The LEED certified headquarters features over 60 laboratories, a vivarium suite with cage wash area, and a two-story, 10,000 sf enclosed courtyard.
Additional projects included the renovation and the expansion of Cell’s 90,000 sf support facility in Beverly. Completed in multiple-phases, Phase 1 entailed 22,000 sf of laboratory and office space, while Phase 2 included 68,000 sf of new research and production laboratories with ancillary administrative and support areas that include freezer and cold rooms, media/buffer prep area, and a cafeteria.
