Construction of a new, 4-story office building located on FM Global’s campus in Norwood, MA. The scope included 160,000 sf of rentable office and medical office space, as well as an on-site fitness center, conference center, corporate dining, and surface parking.

The building accommodates two tenants, FM Global and Dedham Medical Associates. With separate entrances and lobbies, FM Global’s entrance features a glass canopy, while Dedham Medical’s features a drop-off canopy entrance for patient convenience and an adjacent, glass-enclosed stair tower. While a portion of the building was fit-out to suit the needs of FM Global with a variety of office space, 92,000 sf of the building is dedicated to Dedham Medical Associates. The medical suite includes specialized areas for patient services such as Radiology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Dental, an OB-GYN Unit as well as Lab and Outpatient Surgery.

Sited to fit into FM Global’s campus, a landscaped connection was created to join the new building to FM’s existing buildings. The building’s facade blends into the context of the other buildings with the use of pre-cast concrete and metal rainscreen panels.

The project achieved LEED Gold and utilized BIM technologies.
