Remix Therapeutics, a biotechnology company developing small molecule therapies, relocated to the first purpose-built lab building at Arsenal Yards in Watertown. Remix occupies the third and fourth floors in the state-of-the-art, nine-story, LEED Gold certified glass tower.

The design build renovation entailed the fit-out of research lab space, as well as administrative office on multiple floors. An interconnecting stair promotes collaboration throughout the modern space. Specialized areas include tissue culture rooms, cold rooms, freezer farm, BSL-2 lab, and automation and compound management areas. Lab waste and hazmat exhaust systems were required. 

Work was completed as the base building was under construction and other tenant fit-out projects were being finalized. Careful coordination with multiple General Contractors in the building, including the Core & Shell team, was required to avoid schedule interruptions.
