In an effort to remedy existing space constraints and allow the hospital to meet the growing demands for outpatient services in the Cape Cod area, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital embarked on an existing facility expansion.

The expanded, two-story campus includes new physician exam/treatment rooms, outpatient therapy rooms, and a new multi-purpose outpatient gym that is used for yoga and Tai Chi.

The lobby, inpatient areas and practice apartment used to prepare patients for returning home were also refurbished. Additionally, a 60 car parking lot facility will be constructed to accommodate the extra 3,500 visits a year the hospital is anticipating with the expansion.
