Columbia oversaw the construction efforts to build a new housing facility on The Boston Home campus in Dorchester. The Harmon House project provides 36 units of accessible housing with supportive services designed to promote independence for adults with significant disabilities.
This project was an innovative solution for The Boston Home, as they had a growing need for additional supportive housing. Located on the existing campus, the 42,000 sf new building contains many specialized programming opportunities to make the housing units more accessible for those with disabilities.
Dispersed over four-floors, the Harmon House facility contains one and two-bedroom units, with community space, offices, conference rooms, and outdoor seating and patio areas
