Current Financial Information
We use this information to ascertain a company's financial stability and ability to successfully complete a project with us. Any information shared will be kept confidential.
  1. Columbia prefers professionally prepared financial statements (audited, reviewed, or compilation) whenever possible.

  2. If third-party financial information is unavailable, we will consider internally prepared financials if they include the following minimum information:

    1. Balance Sheet

    2. Income Statement

    Professionally prepared third-party financials provide Columbia with the highest level of comfort that the information provided is complete and accurate.

Letter of Bondability ("Good Guy" Letter) from your Surety, signed and dated in the current year that indicates the trade partner, te Surety underwriting the trade partner, how long the Surety has been providing bonding for the trade partner, the A.M. Best Rating of the bond company, and the single and aggregate limits for which the trade partner is qualified.

Underutilized Business Enterprise (UBE) Certification

  1. If your firm qualifies as an Underutilized Business Enterprise, please submit the supporting certificate(s) or documentation validating the business as an MBE, WBE, VBE, LGBTBE, DOBE, SBE, etc., in all States that apply.

OSHA 300A Logs for the last three years.

  1. This log summarizes all OSHA Recordable incidents at each of your company's locations during the previous calendar year(s).

  2. If your company has had 10 or fewer employees at all times during the previous calendar year(s), or you are classified as a partially exempt industry, please indicate the number of employees and hours worked in the last three years on company letterhead.

EMR Letter from your insurance agent, or a copy of your EMR worksheet from your insurance advisory organization (NCCI or state-specific) indicating your company's EMR for the last three years.

Work in Progress (WIP)
A Work in Progress (WIP) report of all active projects including the current contract amount, the current stage of completion, and the projected end date. This report helps us to understand a trade partner's current and future commitments.
