What could be more team building than being locked in a room with your co-workers for an hour?
Columbia's Interiors Division enjoyed a night out in Boston recently, starting the fun at Escape the Room Boston. The venue consists of four different rooms that eight to ten players are locked inside. With sixty minutes on the clock, players need to work together to solve a series of puzzles using various clues in order to obtain the room key and escape. All 38 people currently working on Interiors projects were divided into four groups and the countdown began. Despite the abundance of trash talking leading up to the event, only one team was able to crack the code and emerge victorious!
Although the other teams may still be trapped in their respective rooms if not for the kind people at Escape the Room who let them out, they were able to work through their disappointment over dinner and drinks at Fajitas & 'Ritas. Win or lose, it's great to spend time with co-workers outside of a work setting and just have fun! (Or at least that's what those of us on the losing teams keep telling ourselves...)
