Seeing an increase of 6,000+ patients in the Fall River area during its first year of operation, HealthFirst’s new Family Care Center provides the community with much-needed health services. The scope of this new health center included the complete renovation of an existing 78,000 sf single story building, with the construction of a new mezzanine and entryway.
The new center, 36,000+/- sf of space dedicated to primary medical and dental services, has an expanded laboratory and pharmacy. It is also the home to the Fall River WIC Program, a health and nutrition program for women, infants and children. HealthFirst leases the remaining space to tenants who provide specialty health services including cardiology, podiatry, ophthalmology, X-ray.
The goal of this project was to create a convenient one-stop healthcare option for the Greater Fall River community.
