Multi-Phased build-out of a new pharmacy to meet current USP 800 regulatory compliance was completed within the hospital’s active labor and delivery suite. The work also included the addition of two new LDRP rooms and a full renovation of the nurses’ station and waiting room to create a more inviting and modern area for patients and staff.

Specific care was given to meet logistical challenges in the active LDRP, including ensuring the nurses’ station and waiting room remained open during construction. Additionally, work was completed on patient floors above and below the pharmacy to tie into existing mechanical systems, which involved working in active patient rooms and the hospital’s OR suite. Aging systems discovered during demolition were repaired and maintained without any downtime.
